There are lots of activities to choose from while you are in Vava’u all activities can be arranged from Mala. Diving, Whale watching (swimming with the whales), Surfing, Wakeboarding, Island tour snorkeling trips, Land Island Tours, Deep Sea Fishing, Kayaking, and Sailing. All boat operators pick you up and drop you off at Mala.
Sunday Barbecue Lunches
Come and enjoy an awesome day on our white sandy beach swim in the coral gardens followed by a delicious barbecue lunch from midday onwards. Snorkeling – “Japanese Coral Gardens” Swimming and snorkeling is amazing right off our beach with the pristine clear waters colourful array of fish and spectacular coral reefs, Bush Walk around the island.

Diving
Vava’u offers world class diving with visibility up to 70 meters in the crystal clear waters. You can enjoy diving in warm waters, which are year round. There are several different operators to choose from there are also dive courses available from beginner to Dive Master. The Waters of Vava’u are a natural aquarium filled with colourful coral, dolphins, fish, turtles, manta rays amongst unique caves and spectacular underwater archways.

Whale Watching
Vava’u becomes a very special place between the months of July and November. The Humpback whale migrates from the Antarctic to mate and give birth to their young. We are lucky enough to be able to view these majestic animals in their natural habitat. Tonga is one of the only places in the world where you are allowed to swim with the whales. Fishing
Vava’u Tonga has a reputation as the premium Sport fishing and Big Game fishing destination in the South Pacific. The Waters of Vava’u are over 1000 meters deep less than a mile of shore.
